World’s Strongest Became the Game’s Weakest Villain

Chapter 73: Chapter 71: Ghost Buster

The morning after I saw the ghost, we all gathered around the fireplace once more. The rain remained relentless and unstopping and there largely seemed to be no place for any improvement whatsoever.

Well, that was fine.

We could still find a chance to go back. Or even if we were stuck here for a few more days, with the supplies on hand it was still alright. But not for too long.

But before all of that. What mattered was the fact that we might just not be able to go back home.

"What did you do then?" Maria asked. "Are you hurt? Who do I kill?"

Aren\'t ghosts already dead?

"Big sis Maria scares me sometimes," Lily said, hugging herself. "I can\'t stand ghosts, young master! Do something about this!"

Who was the servant again?

"What did you do then?" Keith asked. "About the ghost?"

"I tried to punch it, but it was a little to far, so I sent a ball of fire hurtling at it."

"You\'re insane. Shouldn\'t you have screamed and run away instead?"

"Why when I could punch it?"

Maria seemed to share Keith\'s opinion. "You could have at least told us, young master!"

"Then when would I have slept?"

These guys don\'t seem to understand how important a well rested body was for good muscles.

Maria and Lily placed a hand on their head and sighed.

"Anyway," I smiled and nodded. You guys be on the lookout for it, alright?"

"Where are you going?" Keith asked.

"I\'m going to train! Good morning!"

Keith, Maria and Lily could do nothing but look at each other as I walked out to the porch outside the house that had an awning of wood sticking out, to cover the from the rain.

Below the awning sat a table for two and chairs for two, neatly looking out at the woods and the mountain top. It was quite the scenic place to make a house at, I would admit. The house was pretty sick too.

I sat down first and took in three deep breaths, then held for five counts and exhaled in bursts of seven. The Three-Five-Seven helped one look deeper inside one\'s body.

And the very opposite technique where I took in quick and sharp bursts of breaths, held and then exhaled at once let me spread my senses outward. Everyone used these breathing patterns to spread their senses outward, but there were also other ways to go about it.

It was something that had never exactly been used all that well back on Earth since we could also just spread our Ki and Mana, but I found this method to be much economical.

For not having any teacher that could tell me all this other than a useless Keith, I was doing pretty good.

But of course, the path of the stronger was longer yet.

I got on my hands and started performing some vertical pushups while maintaining the breathing patterns.

When I extended my senses outward, I could sense the presence of the falling raindrops and the far off sensation of trees and leaves rustling.

I also noticed something running around in the porch.

Running around?

My eyes snapped open and I got on my feet again. Standing at the end of the house was the same white apparition.

It\'s eyes widened extremely as it noticed me. There was no mistaking its dark glare under the rain.

I can\'t see and therefore can\'t tell? Fuck you.

"Stop right there, ghost buster!"

The ghost flinched and started running away. I jumped over the table to follow after it, but by the time I could reach the corner it had turned past, the ghost had disappeared again.

But where would it go in this rain other than inside the house?

What? Ghosts didn\'t care about the rain? Well fuck you then.

I pushed the window open and lunged inside the house. Maria and Lily in the kitchen flinched as they saw me.

"Young Master?"

"What happened? Is everything ok?"

Of course not. I ignored the two and looked around the place once more.

My eyes went to the top of the stairs in this atrium shaped house.

The ghost was standing there.

"Come down here, punk."

"Kreiee!"

The ghost screamed and pulled out a sword.

Keith\'s sword.

I cracked my knuckles and jumped to the top after hopping off of a shield and got to the skies.

The ghost was slightly stunned.

That was when I landed the finishing blow.

"Keith is ugly as fuck!"

The ghost stopped running away and turned to face me. That much time was enough for me to lunge off of another shield and slam my foot in the ghost\'s head.

"Ow!~"

The ghost rolled down the fence and fell to the lower floor at once.

I dusted my hands while Maria and Lily ran over to the ghost to help it up.

The ghost\'s white veil had also been knocked out and standing there instead was Keith.

"Got you, little shit."

"How did you notice…" Keith asked, scratching the back of his head.

"I told you it won\'t work," muttered Maria.

"Why would you use your own sword? Were you born an idiot, Keith?" Lily had no mercy either.

I stretched my hands and turned away.

"Whatever, I am going to sleep, you clowns."

I pushed the door open and walked inside my room. The other three were calling out for me, but I ignored them.

I went straight to the mirror in the room and touched the bottom of my eyes.

"Phew, no eyeballs. I guess I wasn\'t caught."

How dare they act like a ghost in the middle of the night? I didn\'t get to sleep a damn wink the whole time! To hell with them, to hell!

Sighing, I pulled the sheets up and jumped inside them. It was finally time to go and sleep.
