Undead God: I Can Extract Everything

Chapter 111 - 111: 110 Corpse on Fire

Spring City, The Secret Realm Map Management Center was located in a building that was over a hundred meters high and covered thousands of square meters.

The building was grand and colossal, but once Dean McKenzie entered, he found that it only had six secret realm maps.

Upon realizing this, Dean couldn’t help but feel a sense of absurdity, as if he had gone back to his time before the transit, when he protected his two-digit savings with a six-digit password.

“Isn’t this a complete waste of land resources?

Oh, never mind, there doesn’t seem to be a shortage of land in this world!”

Dean muttered, returning his attention to the six maps at the Secret Realm Map Management Center.

All six secret realm maps had been explored thousands and ten thousands of times by players from Spring City, so the available information was extremely detailed.

Dean directly ignored the three maps suited for levels lower than 30. Not only were there additional experience points for defeating monsters of higher levels, but also a decrease in experience points for fighting monsters more than five levels lower than himself. Most importantly, Anson Harris had already granted him access to secret realms above level 30, so Dean saw no point in studying the maps for level 30 and below.

Above level 30, there were three maps.

Demonized Rodent Plain (Level 30) (A plain infested with a large number of demonized rodents, an abundance of elite bosses, the boss being a level 30 Rodent King of Excellent Quality)

Fallen Demon Valley (Level 35) (A valley teeming with fallen demons, and the boss is the Fallen Demon Priest (please note, a boss with a special resurrection skill may appear))

Evil Cave (Level 40) (A cave full of demonized rodents, Fallen Demons, and corpses. The boss is a corpse king with an Excellent Template at level 40 (It is said that a hidden mode may be triggered))

Dean’s eyes lit up as he read the introductions for these three maps.

“A special resurrection skill? What makes this skill special? I’m curious!” Saying that, Dean whipped out the Secret Realm Key and entered the Demonized Rodent Plain first.

While Dean was tempted by the so-called ‘special resurrection skill’ mentioned in the description, he hadn’t forgotten his main purpose: to level up by defeating monsters.

Plus, even if Dean wanted to do something, he needed to stock up on elite monsters first and foremost.

Therefore, he opted to unlock the Demonized Rodent Plain map first.

Dean went in…and then, he came out?

From the moment that Dean opened the map to his emergence from the Demonized Rodent Plain, the entire process was less than three hours.

In just two hours and thirty-two minutes, Dean had already completed the Demonized Rodent Plain.

Dean’s level had also risen from 35 to 36.

In reality, the reason it took Dean more than two hours was because he was holding back, trying to send the elite monsters to the Land of Bone.

Had Dean given his all, he wouldn’t have needed to stay in the Demonized Rodent Plain for two and a half hours.

Twenty minutes would’ve been more than enough!

However, spending these additional two hours was definitely worth it for Dean. During those two hours, Dean had transported 89 level 30 elite demonized rodents, along with the Rodent King of an Excellent Template based at level 30, from the Demonized Rodent Plain to his Land of Bone.

Nevertheless, Dean was unsatisfied with the result.

Indeed, he could have earned more.

But due to the high damage from Bone Fang, even the elite rodents, despite Dean’s best efforts to avoid their critical spots, ended up exploding unintentionally due to their frailty, resulting in the accidental killing of at least two-thirds of the elite monsters.

Dean felt helpless.

All he could do was lament his own strength and ruefully accept the situation.

Fortunately, he obtained a decent amount of loot.

Having exited the Demonized Rodent Plain, Dean immediately entered the Fallen Demon Valley.

He completed it even faster this time. In just over an hour, Dean had already emerged from Fallen Demon Valley.

However, when he re-appeared, Dean’s expression wasn’t great.

The elite monsters in the Fallen Demon Valley were primarily Fallen Demon Mages, who were even more fragile than the rodents.

But in actuality, the frailty of the Fallen Demons wasn’t entirely their fault. The main problem was that Dean’s output was too fierce. When he first entered, his Spirit was 212.2 in his raw state. Each Bone Fang attack caused as much as 1449-72 damage. And thanks to his Bone Control trait, which amplified his damage by fifty percent, the damage dealt soared to a frightening 2174.5.

The damage inflicted by Bone Fang on a Fallen Demon Mage of one-turn would undeniably result in instant death upon contact.

Even when Dean scattered Bone Fang, each attack still dealt over five hundred damage.

The damage wasn’t low and was difficult to control.

Although Dean had a flat A Mana Attacked, its range was too short, it was strenuous to use, and the cost was high.

An hour of combat later, Dean only managed to send 51 elite Fallen Demons to the Land of Bone on the map.

Fortunately, when it came to the last Excellent Template Fallen Demon Priest, Dean smartly ordered Doggy Two to take action and captured it.

Moreover, Fallen Demons could drop Spirit points.

After Dean scoured the Valley, he leveled up from 36 to 37. What’s more impressive was the increase in his Spirit from 212 to 335.2 upon entering. His Mana, even in its raw state, broke the 4000 barrier and reached 4754.

But it seems like this creature doesn’t possess the resurrection skill!”

Dean frowned as he looked over the Fallen Demon Priest’s attributes.

Name: Fallen Demon Priest

Template: Excellent

Traits: Enhanced Magic (D) (Increases attack power of magic skills by 25%) Level: 35

Attributes:

Strength: 2, Agility: 10, Physique: 5, Spirit: 142

Mana: 1420 (1000)

Skill: Fireball (Level 6) (+1)

One-turn Skill: Large Fireball (Level 3) (+1)

Equipment: Fallen Demon Magic Wand (Silver), Fallen Demon Robe (Silver)

Apparently, Dean’s luck was not good, and he did not encounter a boss with a resurrection skill.

Frustrated, Dean entered the map two more times.

Dean McKenzie’s luck was just plain awful. After grinding in the Land of Bone three times, he found enough Fallen Demon Priests to assemble a Mahjong set, but not a single boss with a resurrection skill.

Dean wanted to keep grinding, but the staff objected.

Even though he had a temporary card.

But that card should not entitle him to monopolize one map for endless grinding.

The Secret Realm Map Management Center wasn’t just for Dean.

Allowing Dean to grind a map three times was already more than enough, he certainly couldn’t be allowed to continue.

Being a freeloader himself, Dean had no ground to request another round. Therefore, he switched to the Demonized Rodent Plain and grind it twice, then moved on to the Evil Cave.

Within a day, Dean had grinded each of the three Secret Realm maps three times.

His level increased from 35 to 39.

Of course, the reason he didn’t reach level 40 was mainly due to his own choices.

He had crammed thousands of injured elite monsters and 8 bosses with excellent templates into his Land of Bone, he would not have reached level 40 if he didn t feed on the majority of the experience.

“This is the last one!”

The Evil Cave.

Dean gazed at the Corpse King, which he nailed to the ground with a bone spike as soon as the fight started.

He looked somewhat disappointed.

Even though he defeated numerous elites and monsters with excellent templates, Dean had yet to find a proper essence for upgrading Bone Fang. “If I go by the current conditions, I suppose I can only use the Demonized Rodent with the ‘Rapid Shot’ trait to enhance Bone Fang.” While ‘Rapid Shot’ isn’t bad, Dean still found it lacking. The trait doesn’t grant Bone Fang any attribute output.

But Dean was out of options!

There’s nothing I can do about my lousy luck, neither the Fallen Demons nor the creatures in Evil Cave turned into the rumored hidden mode boss.”

“This is really frustrating!”

Dean muttered, opening the Gate of Bone.

Seeing the gate open, Doggy Two, the skilled hauler, went to transport the Corpse King into the gate.

As Doggy Two approached and was about to make his move, the Corpse King suddenly erupted in a frenzy.

Simultaneously, a mysterious magic circle appeared beneath the Corpse King. As the magic circle lit up, the Corpse King became engulfed in a faint, icy blue flame.

Seeing this, Dean was not scared, but thrilled.

Finally, some surprise. Is this the hidden mode of the Evil Cave boss?” Just as Dean said this, the Bone Fang embedded in the Corpse King shattered with a crack.

Simultaneously, several magic circles appeared beside it, and five pale-blue corpses crawled out.

Meanwhile, the Corpse King’s rotting skin turned icy blue, and it stood up straight.

Transformation complete!

Dean’s long-unfulfilled Appraisal Skill was immediately cast.

Looking at the attributes in front of him, Dean had to admit, he was taken aback.

In a pleasantly surprised way!

“Great luck, this will settle Bone Fang’s upgrade!”

As he spoke, Dean waved his hand, and a Bone Fang shot directly at the Burning Corpse, blowing its head right off.

This poor boss had barely made a show of its magnificence before falling.

The remaining five minions also perished with it..
